Giving to the Residential College System

Philanthropy was the driving force in establishing the residential college system at Vanderbilt, and will continue to play a vital role in this next phase of growth. The generosity of our alumni and parents will help us create more vibrant living and learning communities—those where undergraduate students live alongside faculty and graduate students who become mentors as well as neighbors.

This is one of the most ambitious projects that Vanderbilt has ever undertaken—its focus reflects the university’s bold ambitions for undergraduate education. Once complete, this effort will enable many more undergraduates to have four years of the Residential College experience.

Gifts of all sizes make an immediate impact on Residential Colleges.
