David Williams II Student Recreation and Wellness Center

Located at 2700 Children’s Way, the David Williams II Student Recreation and Wellness Center (Rec) includes 290,000 square feet of indoor space and six acres of outdoor facility space with something for everyone. Meet up with your new friends to play ping pong, bowl, play racquetball, play squash, workout, swim, climb, cook, and more!

Parking Services

The Office of Parking Services is committed to supporting ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s mission by creating a helpful and welcoming environment through the delivery of excellent service. We provide guidance and assistance to the campus community on all parking-related needs in a timely and efficient manner, and we provide well-maintained parking facilities ensuring equitable parking for all our guests. Our top priority is to provide customer-oriented parking options and exemplary service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.

Project Safe Center

The Project Safe Center for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response partners with students, faculty, and staff to create a campus culture that
rejects sexual harassment, sexual assault, and intimate partner violence.

Student Accountability

The university’s goal in establishing policies and holding students accountable for complying with them is to help students understand how their choices can affect not only their immediate neighbors, but also the University community as a whole. Vanderbilt’s system of graduated sanctions and structured accountability action plans is designed to effect students’ voluntary compliance with the policies and regulations established to protect themselves, other students, and the community.

Student Care Coordination

The Office of Student Care Coordination is committed to supporting undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in successfully navigating life events related to academic stress and/or medical, mental health, and/or other personal concerns that may interfere with a student’s ability to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Student Care Network

The Student Care Network is a holistic network of services and resources pertaining to health and wellness available to all ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ students. Primary offices include the Office of Student Care Coordination, the University Counseling Center, the Student Health Center, and the Center for Student Wellbeing. Students also have access to a wide range of additional on-campus and community resources through the Student Care Network.

Student Health Center

The Student Health Center is your on-campus primary care clinic, here to serve your health care needs during your time at Vanderbilt. We provide a wide range of services including acute care for unexpected injuries or illnesses, chronic disease
management, gynecology, STD screening, injection clinic, nutrition, and sports medicine. The Student Health Center is also here to serve your travel needs and can do all vaccinations necessary for your adventure overseas.

University Counseling Center

As a key component of Vanderbilt’s Student Care Network, the UCC provides mental health assessment, support, and treatment for all students enrolled at Vanderbilt, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Police Department

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Police Department (VUPD), through its community-oriented policing philosophy, plays a vital role in the lives of students living on campus and is committed to maintaining a safe, secure environment for Vanderbilt students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Vandy Vans

Vanderbilt Student Government, in partnership with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Police Department and the Dean of Students Office administer the VandyRides shuttle bus program at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½. The Vandy Vans pick up and drop off at pre-designated points on campus. The service operates from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM during the fall and spring semesters. The vans follow three routes on campus.

VandySafe

VandySafe is a free app that lets you connect directly from your cellphone to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Police Department. The app allows users to contact ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Public Safety via phone call or real-time chat, trigger a mobile Bluelight that shares your location instantly with VUPS, and submit reports or crime tips.
